Foster Positive Human-Horse Bonds

At Mindful Horsemanship, LLC., my mission is to blend the art of horsemanship with the practice of mindfulness. My unique approach encourages riders to intentionally focus their attention on the present moment without judgment.

Why Focusing on the Present Matters

This practice, while simple in description, can be challenging to implement as our minds naturally drift toward past events or future concerns. In the language of mindfulness, this is often referred to as 'autopilot.'

While mind-wandering has its place, being in the present moment is crucial when interacting with our equine partners to ensure safety, accurately interpret equine body language, and establish clear communication.

My mindfulness approach also emphasizes body awareness, which is critical for effective communication, alignment, balance, and autonomy while riding.

Comprehensive Services

I offer tailored mindfulness training in various formats, including classroom, groundwork, and mounted lessons. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced rider with specific goals for your horse-human partnership, my services can help you achieve them.
